Neuron Soundware sells AI that listens to machines to catch failures before they happen. The Prague company, registered in 2019, fits acoustic and vibration sensors to equipment such as pumps, industrial robots and wind turbines and analyses the recordings to detect failures early, according to its EIC project, which aimed at "99.6% accuracy" in detecting faults.
The European Innovation Council granted €2,500,000 towards a €3.7 million project from February 2023 to December 2025. In October 2023 the company announced CZK 160 million, about €7 million, in support from EU programmes and the Czech technology agency TAČR, including EIC blended finance of grants and equity. The latest CORDIS report, to January 2025, says the company doubled its sales force, added a module that reduces the data needed for custom AI models, and now holds "one billion recordings". It does not report whether the accuracy target was met. The last revenue Neuron Soundware published was CZK 9.5 million for 2021.

Where Neuron Soundware Stands Now
In August 2026 the company published a case study in which it fitted 28 inverter blocks at a Repsol solar park in central Spain in one night-time outage. Its news also covers a grid-protection partnership with Advanced Microturbines, a top-three finish in a Hannover Messe innovation challenge in 2026 and demonstrations on CNC machines with Ceratizit. Its 2024 accounts were filed with the Prague commercial register in 2025 but their figures are not published on the company's site.

The system records sound and vibration at the machine, runs AI at the edge and sends results to a cloud dashboard. The EIC project automated the building of anomaly detection models, introducing "semi-automated procedures for creating AI models" so that each new customer machine needs less manual work. In 2023 the company said it was developing a new edge unit with AI accelerator chips.
What the EIC Project Promised, and What CORDIS Shows
The project promised a highly accurate, easy-to-deploy diagnostic platform for industry. The reports show platform features, automation and a larger sales team. They give no accuracy figures, customer numbers or sales. The project ended in December 2025; no final report is on CORDIS yet, and it is still listed as signed.

The Money
In its 2023 announcement the company gave revenue of CZK 9.5 million for 2021 and CZK 4 million for the first nine months of 2022, against a 2022 goal of about €1 million. It has not published revenue since. Its share capital is €305,600, according to Kurzy.cz. How much of the CZK 160 million was EIC equity has not been disclosed.
