Implicity, incorporated in Paris in May 2016 and led by co-founder and chief executive Arnaud Rosier, an electrophysiologist, runs a cloud platform that collects and analyses data from cardiac implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders regardless of manufacturer, with a US base in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its EIC Accelerator project, SignalHF, "Development and clinical evaluation of an end-to-end Heart Failure management solution powered by predictive AI", receives an EU contribution of €2,488,360 and runs from May 2025 to April 2027, according to CORDIS. It covers an AI module that predicts heart failure events from implant data, plus software for alerts, treatment, patient engagement and workflow. No periodic report has been published.
The algorithm at the centre of the project was already on the US market before the project started: the FDA granted 510(k) clearance to SignalHF on 17 May 2024, according to Implicity. It was trained and validated on France's Health Data Hub, to which Implicity was the first private company given access, together with data from its own platform. In September 2026 Implicity raised $40 million led by the growth investor IRIS alongside Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co, and said it serves more than 250 medical centres and monitors more than 120,000 patients daily in the US, France and Germany, according to Implicity.

Where Implicity Stands Now
The new round will fund US commercial hiring, US-specific features and next-generation heart failure prediction algorithms, the company says. At the Heart Rhythm Society meeting in April 2026 it reported that its loop recorder algorithm, applied on top of manufacturers' built-in AI, reclassified 61.6% of false-positive alerts while keeping 98.3% sensitivity in 483 cases from 324 patients, according to Implicity. The French register lists 50 to 99 employees and no published accounts, according to recherche-entreprises. The EIC Fund is not named among its investors.
"This funding lets us care for patients at scale, catching the information through the noise to provide the best possible care."
Arnaud Rosier, CEO and co-founder of Implicity, September 2026The Technology: Reading Every Implant Brand
Heart failure affects 64 million people worldwide and causes repeated hospital admissions that timely intervention can prevent, the CORDIS project description says, but no holistic data platform exists for these patients. Implicity's advantage is that it is independent of device makers, so clinics can see all patients' implants in one system. Implicity says patients monitored with its platform had 26% lower mortality and 4% fewer hospitalisations than those on conventional remote monitoring, citing its own real-world data.
What the EIC Award Promised, and What the Record Shows
The project runs to April 2027, so it is too early to judge it. Its "development" half was well advanced before it began, with SignalHF already cleared by the FDA. The "clinical evaluation" half, the evidence that SignalHF reduces hospitalisations in practice, has not been published, and CORDIS carries no progress report.

The Money
Implicity has raised at least $63 million in two announced equity rounds, from French banks, Bpifrance and growth investors. The EIC award was blended finance, but no EIC Fund investment has been announced, and the 2026 round names only IRIS and Five Arrows.
What Cannot Be Checked
Questions for the EIC
Whether the EIC Fund invested, what the grant pays for that was not already built and cleared, how the SignalHF clinical evaluation is designed, and what Implicity's revenue is are not public.
Why Europe Should Care
Implicity is a French company with European data roots, including the Health Data Hub. Its latest funding is aimed mainly at growth in the United States, where it has built its hospital network from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
What the award promised
Develop and clinically evaluate an AI heart failure management suite.
What the record shows
Algorithm cleared before the grant; business growing; evaluation unpublished.
The Verdict
A winner, funded late
Implicity is scaling on its own. The EIC grant arrived after its key algorithm was already on the market.
Implicity and the EIC have not been asked for comment for this article. It is based entirely on public records and published statements, linked throughout.
