Europa respalda a 40 pioneros tecnológicos de alto crecimiento en la última ronda de financiación del EIC Accelerator

ENCUENTRA LOS ÚLTIMOS RESULTADOS AQUÍ

Bruselas, Bélgica – 30 de junio de 2025 – El Consejo Europeo de Innovación (EIC) ha anunciado la selección de 40 empresas innovadoras para recibir un total de aproximadamente 229 millones de euros en financiación bajo el último programa EIC Accelerator. Los resultados, publicados hoy, siguen un proceso de selección altamente competitivo con una fecha límite de solicitud de subvención del 12 de marzo de 2025. Las startups y PYMEs financiadas representan la cúspide de la innovación deep-tech y revolucionaria europea, preparadas para escalar y competir en el escenario global. Con un tamaño promedio de inversión de 5,73 millones de euros por empresa, esta inversión sustancial subraya el compromiso del EIC de fomentar una nueva generación de gigantes tecnológicos europeos. Un asombroso 87,5% de los solicitantes exitosos, totalizando 35 empresas, recibirán financiación mixta, una combinación de financiación por subvención e inversión en capital. Este modelo de financiación popular asegura que las empresas no solo tengan los recursos para investigación y desarrollo, sino también el respaldo financiero a largo plazo para llevar exitosamente sus innovaciones al mercado. En esta ronda, cuatro empresas (10%) aseguraron financiación solo por subvención, mientras que una empresa (2,5%) recibirá solo inversión en capital. El proceso de selección para el EIC Accelerator es notoriamente riguroso. Si bien el número total de solicitantes para las etapas iniciales (Paso 1 y Paso 2) no fue revelado, la tasa de éxito para las empresas que llegaron a la etapa final de entrevista (Paso 3) se situó en el 27%.

Representación diversa en toda Europa

Las 40 empresas ganadoras provienen de 16 países diferentes, mostrando una amplia distribución geográfica de innovación en todo el continente. Alemania lidera el grupo con siete empresas financiadas (17,5%), seguida de cerca por España con cinco (12,5%). Los Países Bajos y Suecia vieron cada uno cuatro empresas seleccionadas (10%), mientras que Francia y el Reino Unido tienen cada uno tres solicitantes exitosos (7,5%). Otros países representados entre los ganadores incluyen Dinamarca, Finlandia, Irlanda y Polonia, cada uno con dos empresas. Austria, Bélgica, República Checa, Israel, Italia y Luxemburgo tienen cada uno una empresa que recibe financiación. Esta cohorte diversa de ganadores refleja la misión del EIC de apoyar la excelencia en innovación dondequiera que pueda surgir dentro del Espacio Europeo de Investigación y países asociados. La variedad de sectores y tecnologías representados, desde ciencias de la vida y tecnologías digitales hasta energía y sostenibilidad, destaca la naturaleza multifacética del panorama de innovación de Europa. Las empresas exitosas ahora entrarán en preparaciones de acuerdos de subvención y serán apoyadas por el Fondo EIC para el componente de inversión en capital. Esta inyección financiera será complementada con acceso a los valiosos Servicios de Aceleración Empresarial del EIC, proporcionando oportunidades de coaching, mentoría y networking para ayudarlos a navegar los desafíos del escalamiento. La próxima oportunidad para que startups y PYMEs ambiciosas soliciten el EIC Accelerator será la próxima fecha límite de solicitud de subvención para el Paso 2 el 1 de octubre de 2025.
